All leasing is renting. Having the option to buy it at the end doesn’t change that. 

Given how many Model 3s I see on the road, I don’t think the people buying them are all that concerned.

I firmly believe that people complain about Tesla largely because Tesla gives them something to complain about. If they just sat there quietly making cars without Musk spouting off this and that on social media, there wouldn’t be as much negative reporting.
