It’s not a corner carver in the Focus ST vein, but it’s still pretty fun and the suspension is forgiving enough for long road trips.

Please give us a poll to vote on writer submissions. We have three pretty excellent choices this week.

How about a little rubberized hat for my friend?

I bet they didn’t feel a thing and only knew because the guys on the bridge (almost certainly maintenance guys) radio’d it in. Somebody is losing their job over this one. Possibly several somebodies.

Well written!

I actually know some things about this type of thing.

I just asked my neighbor about this, he's a retired engineer, he said its an epic fuckup and several people will be fired. Apparently the engineers are supposed to know all of this, as well as switching and dispatch.

Why is the car that’s going under when the video starts already damaged? Had they gone under a slightly higher bridge before this that already damaged some train cars?

I think I can I think I can I think I can I think I’m a can.

I agree about Gizmodo. Used to be one of my favorite sites, but i don’t even look at it any more because it’s so hideous and cumbersome. Hate to say it, but it looks like my beloved Jalopnik is getting the same treatment. It’s been fun...

It’s old-school biker talk for “go 100 miles per hour”.

There are also Sierra Nevadas in my refrigerator.

Give me a shout when you get here, we’ll go for a ride. I’ll show you the good roads.

I like the way you think. To take it further, just order the ladder yourself. Take the ladder. Take the shipment money. Take the phones. And then call Amazon and tell them you never got either one of your ladders.

That’s where telephone poles come from, right?

Solution: Quit working for amazon and start up your own fresh-picked phone stand.

The visual is as ridiculous as you’d think.

I bet this comment section is gonna be a treat.
