I never use the awning attachment on my RTT, but I use the hell out of the separate fold-out awning on the side of the roof rack.

ANYONE can crash, it happens to the best. But what was INEXCUSABLE was not getting on the FUCKING BRAKES and rolling back across the track like an asshole.

Bump dump. Took traction control off and punched it wrong time, classic sharp left torque steer incident. The 27 car following seemed to have no problem.
