And yet those shows are remembered 50+ years later and are a lasting part of pop culture. Even if most people only watch them ironically, they still watch them.

I love both antman movies, and a big reason is how much “smaller” the stakes are.

Not a bad take though, they showed their working.

Ant-Man & The Wasp is my favorite MCU film, just putting that out there. Inventive action, fun characters, great jokes, and it’s one of the few MCU movies (including its predecessor) where the fate of the world isn’t on the line; it’s just about Hope/Hank trying to find Janet and Scott trying to not get caught evading

Fair enough. I only had 30 seconds to make an “All-Star” joke before rushing out the door.

“Never gonna run around and besmirch you...!”

How dare you besmirch a band that’s given us countless and countless internet memes. What next? Making fun of Rick Astley?

Holy shit. Did you really just attribute Invincible to Brian Vaughan? I know that newswires have been making major factual errors on this site for the last few years, but to me this feels like a depressing new low.

Invincible was created by and written by Robert Kirkman, the creator and writer of The Walking Dead. The comic book series by Vaughn that is currently being adapted into a television series is Y: The Last Man.

despite their incompatible ideologies, biologies, etc. The series is narrated by the pair’s daughter Hazel from some distant-future point

So.... what websites are better for comic books related news? Because that’s a horrendous error.

Per Polygon, specifics aren’t available on an official return date as of yet, but the series is expected to be back in comic stores some time in 2022.

And if he’d looked at the very last words he’d know the publication date of the next issue.

Ironically the correct answer is the very first words in the Polygon article he references.

Vaughan has nothing to do with Invincible. He did co-create a comic that recently became a TV show, but I’m not gonna do all the work for you, Hughes.

this is what comedy is, laughing at mostly stupid things youre not supposed to laugh at

Ah thanks.  I'm happy and it feels right.  Grief is inevitable but temporary when it comes to dealing with bigots like Chappelle.

Oh Jesus Christ.  As someone who has struggled with gender identity and after this year identity as a woman this is goddamn miserable.  I live in the same state Chappelle calls home and people loooooove him here.  Siding with JK Rowling is a rather quick and easy way to out yourself as an asshole.

i’m really curious what disney/marvel and her team will say if anything at all. realistically, bp2 is not going to lose any money at the box office over this. i could see her team putting out a statement saying she was looking at misinformation and have researched the facts and will get vaccinated. if she doesn’t, we

This is how bad society has gotten when both licensed news outlets and any yokel with a YouTube channel can influence the masses against a COVID vaccination when we’ve been vaccinating people for over a hundred years for all kinds of other viruses and diseases. You can’t goto school without standard vaccinations.
