That is a rabbit hole I’m still following down for a future update. Thus far the finances don’t show anything too surprising aside from a million dollars to Microsoft for cloud services, and the fact that the CEO of AAMVA has a cushy $400k/yr job. Donors appear to be anonymous, for now.

Oregon also does that shit, too. They don’t allow any new registrations of these mini trucks, but they grandfathered trucks already registered in the state.
Who is behind this? Its not like this is eating into new car sales or anything. As far as safety is concerned, there are bigger fish to fry than a niche community. As a Delica owner in PA, this is infuriating. I’ve had my van for 3 years now, never had any hassle or anything. Clean title, registration, all that.
