Old Ebbitt Grill in DC is on the list and I have no idea what they are talking about. I haven’t ever tried to make a reservation, but I have also never waited more than about 5 minutes for a table when just walking in. And while the ambiance is kind of neat the food is pretty much exactly the same as any one of the

This happened to me at CVS two weeks ago. The prescription got called in overnight via a telemedicine physician. I got the call to pick it up around mid-morning. About an hour after that call I was able to drag my dying corpse up to CVS, only to be told it would be another 45 minutes. I just stared at the pharmacist

I’m about fed up with CVS. My prescriptions are never ready when they’re supposed to be. I’m sick of getting a call telling me my prescription is ready for pickup, and then being told it’s not ready when I get there and waiting another 30-45 minutes. It happens every single time. I’d very much prefer to have a grocery

I recently switched from Walgreens to Fry’s (Kroger out west) and it has been wonderful.  No lines, they actually get my scripts right, and I have had zero issues with my insurance.  Walgreens can suck it.

This is the correct take as raspberries are the best berry. I will fight any challengers.

We ended up liking both equally. Even when I made someone choose one favorite, they’d pick and then go “buuuuuuut I really like the other one too.” The difference is mostly a texture one.

I will extend that to blueberry pancakes.

THANK YOU.

I have way, WAY less if an issue with ambient restaurant noise, like plates and people talking, and far more of an issue with restaurants that blast music at a volume where it’s hard to hear someone sitting across from you.

You say this like companies can predict when someone else is going to die the day they start their campaign

Key to cooking hashbrowns well at home: nice hot skillet, small amount of oil, let it get pretty hot. Dump the hashbrowns in, season and stir once to coat them all, then let them sit. For a good 5-10 minutes. You can see and smell when they start to get crispy - *then* flip them over, season more, and let them finish

It’s actually better than that - the onion rings at Popeyes (local to me in NoVA) are REAL onion rings - take an onion, slice it into rings, batter it up, throw in deep fryer, serve. I tried the rings at a local Arbys and Burger King and they were something like mashed onions formed into rings, etc - not even close to

It takes a village...

I will continue to not use instacart in solidarity.

It’s okay how wrong you are.

Because the texture of a toasted bagel is still 98% the texture of an untoasted bagel, with a little bit of crisp in between the cream cheese and the bagel that some people find texturally pleasing? A bagel doesn’t taste like regular bread, nor does a toasted bagel have anything remotely resembling the texture of
