@GREEN TEA LATTES: THE REAL GTL: it was fun at my school because all different types of people got recognized. We only had homecoming royalty unlike most schools who have it at prom too. It got the whole student body involved because everyone got to vote for people in their own classes.

@GREEN TEA LATTES: THE REAL GTL: In my school court were all the nominees for king/queen. Whoever didn't win was on court. Plus there was court for the under classmen who could not be voted king/queen.

@bye june: th so co contents were probably in the flask since the bottle was empty

@gingersnap555: agreed when I lost someone close to me, I couldn't find that lining for a long time. Then a new friend said to me, at least you won't have to lose them again. She was so right. I lived through it, I survived and it wasn't going to happen again. That changed my whole life.

Can we please post these images "after the jump." Rape is not funny ever and we shouldn't have to see this garbage on the home page.

@myprozacdream: Thanks for answering. I really wasn't sure how that worked. I always thought that as long as you reported the crime before the stature was up then there is no issue but then I watched SVU and they showed it differently.

I am glad to see that some changes are being made and in Detroit, I know that people are outraged over the back log and they are trying (as best they can) to solve the problem.

Kristin so true so true...also been watching VM on Netfilx. Love/miss it.

I couldn't get through this. I mean props to her for coming out in high school publically. That is tough shit but, she could have been less dramatic about it and ten minutes on stage during an assembly could also be more entertaining.

Dear Neil, I love you and your cake 'nuff said.

@JoliePolie: I don't specifically remember that part because I chose to block most of that movie out of my mind.

@JennaW: no he's saying that he paid for an hour and she left after she finished him off (only 30 minutes in)

@nomontaguesorcapulets: absolutely. I never read the book and by the sounds of it, I am glad I didn't.

@AtomiClash humanitarian mizanthrope: I'm so glad I am not the only person who feels that way about The Road. I had nightmares about it after I watched it. How horrifying.

Why not just set it up like the sex offender registry. You go on the site punch in your address and you can see how many people with DUIs are in your neighborhood.

ok I made the mistake of reading this article after the rape card take down article. Consider my rage to be back. I am now no longer regretting my last minute decision not to join the PC.
