Listen, that doesn’t fit into my assumptions about the world, so I hereby reject it.

Well, my dog with almost no fur (thin short haired boxer) does not like her coat unless it is sub zero out. She’s actually taught me a great deal about not judging other people’s dog care because some dogs are just weirdos.
You’re thinking of a closed vehicle. This is like trying to air condition an open garage.
So basically every comparison made in the article is completely irrelevant? if a ram TRX gets 12 MPG on the EPA combined I’d hate to see what it gets on the USPS cycle.
Diesel isn’t cheaper in the US. It’s price is just about as much higher as the relative energy content per gallon, ignoring fuel taxes. It used to be much cheaper, but then fuel sellers figured it out when a bunch of car buyers started getting diesel vehicles. It’s like when pork prices didn’t drop even as farmers…
Not defending the choice of these turds in any way but consider that these trucks are basically doing stop and go every 60-80 ft in an urban neighborhood and I can completely understand how the mileage is going to be complete crap. I expect that if you did this drive cycle in a Honda Fit you would get crap mileage as…
It’s just simply not worth it. We see how it ended in this instance, and we’ve now seen multiple instances of people pulling guns. It’s just not worth it. It’s to the point where if I see two people aggressively driving and clearly antagonizing one another, I get as far away as I can for fear of gunfire erupting.
That sounds like cheese heaven! Thanks for the great idea!
So they’re repurposing a ship that would otherwise be dismantled in an environmentally friendly manner, and your take is it’s bad, just because it’s for a billionaire?
If your party’s secretary is in a room with 99 unvaccinated activist and one is allowed to remain while carrying a Nazi flag, you now have a room with 100 Nazis.
Dragging coffee grounds into the car and house on the bottoms of my shoes is enough of a negative consequence for me.
I’m enjoying this series immensely. I think the premise mentioned up top doesn’t really serve the rest of the article very well though, it’s kind of an unrealistic revisionist hindsight, IMO.
This again? Learn how to control your breaking and how your tires feel so that you don’t need to use your ABS or lock up. ABS is designed to save your ass when you panic. You will nearly always stop faster and with more control if you can brake enough to not engage ABS.
Seriously, the US lets far too many people behind…
“Why do her boobs keep growing with every Guilty Gear game Arc System Works releases?”
There is a fine line between “preventing big rig rollovers” and “enabling free-range cargo trailers”.
“Gee, why are home prices so high? Anyways, here’s a way to buy a house with funny-money, and then once you own a home, you’ll be massively financially incentivized to rail tooth-and-nail against any attempts to build more homes! OH, also, borrowing money is free now, so weeeeee!”
I think the inspection takes place where they refill them. And when one has reached EOL, they’ll rotate it out and properly dispose of it. To me, this is the best option because they are much better equipped for doing that than any regular person.
Thank you for this... My mug says “teaching sand to think was a mistake” with a picture of a lil CPU on it, and reading this made me realize it’s not where it’s supposed to be... off to find it!
who then bag them up and bury them in the landfill too
Nah, I’m not going to wash out take out containers and store them until I have enough to take them to a recycling center
