In a perfect world, all trash bags would be considered equal, but for whatever reason, the cheap bags are always complete junk. They rip apart, the ties don't work, and they're somehow never quite the size they're advertised to be. It's definitely worth the extra buck or two to get trash bags that'll actually contain

Flight deck picnics are very common among the surface fleet when underway on sundays. On my first deployment back in 2004, when I was a brand new baby ensign, I was shocked to see a bunch of kiddie pools set up as we were within sight of Iraq. Sitting in shorts in a pool with 95+ degree water, just a few feet from

I had a 94 SL2 for a while. It was actually a great alternative for an economy car at the time. They looked good IMO. And when they were introduced, they looked better than the EF Civic, Corolla/Prizm, etc etc. Plus it had a sporty "coupe" option.

Way to ruin a good story with petty trivialities like facts. Ugh.

The F-15's capabilities, when it first hit the scene, were otherworldly.

The USAF's first jet strategic bomber.

The Boeing B-47 Stratojet. It was the first large, tube fuselage, pressurised, swept wing, pylon jet engined aircraft. It has set the basic design for all transport aircraft for over 65 years.

We're bringing you a surprise wherever you are, no matter how far away or how long it takes to get there or loiter over your head. Oh, and we'll keep using it for like 100 years. B-52

B29 Stratofortress. Pressurized cabin, high altitude flight, remote controlled turrets (aided by computers), and later was used as a testbed for things like fly by wire and remote controlled bombs.

The XB-70 Valkyrie

The Martin B-10

It's not a fighter plane, but the SR-71's absurd speed and its suite of avionics and reconnaissance equipment certainly put it in a different class than anything else in its day, and much of the tech that saw its start with it is evident in current generation planes, even if they aren't quite as impressive.

Can a car company be American if it never made a car on American soil?

At the end of Saturn's run, the only two vehicles that were "badge engineered" were the Astra and Vue. Everything else they had was relatively unique. Shared a platform and drivetrain of course. But had relatively unique styling.

Saturn FTW!

Driving can really test one's patience–there's going to be traffic, moronic drivers/cyclist/pedestrians and plenty of other BS. The best way to mitigate that is to just relax . Repeat after me: "it is what it is."

Exactly, people complained about them but I thought they were a very interesting way to break up the loading! The squad conversations and the news announcements helped smooth it out, I never had a problem with it and wish they kept it in.

1. Buy an Explorer Swiss Army knife or Leatherman multi-tool. Take it everywhere you go,

Yes, this is why a lot of people quit. When you are grossly overweight or obese and are used to a sedintary lifestyle and you start exercising and eating right you will see the weight fall off. At first. Then it will taper. Then it will stop. This is when people get frustrated and quit.
