It’s all about standing water. Drains, gutters, flowerpots, puddles, a glass left unattended on a window ledge...

It’s like a tantrum thrown by a two-year old. They want attention, and they’ve found that screaming and crying about the ‘issue of the day’ gets it.

Me (yawn...) too.

The problem is that they can’t. It’s all they’ve got in order to try to be relevant and ‘edgy’.

Pretty soon we’re gonna reach, and pass, peak offensive.

Diamond theorised the colony failed when the temperatures changed, and they didn’t change their diet with it. But by the records of the colony the winters were colder and the growing seasons shorter.

Read Jared Diamond’s ‘Collapse’. Vikings were able to set up a tolerable agricultural lifestyle there, then it got too cold.

That’s a -bit- more than I was looking for, lol. Got a friend who’s in a group that does those sorts of displays, though.
