I’ve got a dozen or so games that I’m reluctant to part with, so to speak. To be able to play Mass Effect on the XBox One is a real game changer. I’m much more willing to shell out for an XBox One now.

Don’t think you’ll need to play the previous ones - it looks fairly stand-alone.
SHUT UP AND TAKE MY BOTTLECAPS, AMAZON!
And... that’s the question you’re not supposed to ask. Ethanol was supposed to ‘save the planet’. Turns out it took more energy to make (on average) than they could get from it. Windmill power is maintenance intensive, and is only profitable on a subsidy basis as Spain is learning to it’s chagrin.
Obviously not. You WILL accept the groupthink, you WILL not deviate from it, and to even question it IS cause for censure.
It is the guy’s fault.
Same with me, I kept going for a ‘type’ that never seemed to work out. (Also had a bad case of ‘white knight’ syndrome, kept looking for women I could ‘help’, never realizing that part of the problem was that they saw their problems as being integral to their identity. To actually ‘solve’ the problem was to take away…
HOD, I’d suggest you go for it. She may be ‘out of your league’, YOU think, but she may also be going “Damn, I wish I could find someone I can share interests with.”
Don't think we'll ever see it.
Just my thoughts - a company has to make a profit, of course, but the best way to make a profit is to put out a good game - not quickly slap out crap that has the company name but that leaves people feeling ripped off.
Lucas Electronics. "We're reliable. Just ask us."
Not really - it's part of a massive chain. From the Wiki: "over 9,000 stores in 18 countries, and an estimated turnover of more than €50bn" - that's not an independent neighborhood market or small chain by any stretch of the imagination. They do some significant cost cutting by (a) limiting hours, (b) limiting…
You can't help someone who doesn't want help.
"if his wife is locking him down"
Guilt is SUCH a useful tool for the abuser...
TSO - from a survivor of a very similar situation (only we didn't get married) - my advice is simple.
In my particular case (didn't marry her or have kids, only real difference...) - I was afraid of being alone and craved love and affection. I figured that being with her would be better than being alone.
It's certainly troublesome - but what are your options? To continue like that until the kids graduate from high school and then bail? You're gonna be wrecked emotionally and (likely) physically - stress like that takes a real toll on you. We won't talk about financially. (Been there, done that, burned the fucking…
The scary thing was I was reading his story and thinking "I WAS this guy 34 years ago."
It... really does, doesn't it?
