Destiny was fun for a while. I love the visuals, love the dynamics, liked the story line. But I'm a solitary player - a pretty slow one. I'll take my time making a sniper shot because I tend to suck in a fast-paced melee situation. And the need for fireteams in some of the various quests and the Crucible

Let's start at 10, and settle for 5. No lower!

The F-22 was more capable at stealth and long-distance targeting (and killing). But it was deemed 'too expensive', so the push was on to develop a low-cost (snicker) alternative that could be 'multi-role'.

CRTs. Man, I'd forgotten how badly they sucked.

Nickels, or Sweet Tarts? Which are worse for the teeth?

Told my son that being cheap on tools just means you buy them twice. You can spend $10 on a set you'll use a couple of times and break, or you can spend about $5 more and get a set that'll won't give you blisters and won't break. (But you'll still probably lose them. Oh, well. ;) )

That's what the backpacks are for. You just don't see the extension cables that enable them to be placed there.

Everyone to their own. I traded in a '78 Corolla for a new 2002 Saturn. Had to replace the starter at 110k, then the door locks at 130k. Kept it until 160k, when I needed a ride with more cargo room. Far as I was concerned, it was a winner.

I had a Saturn SL in '92 - loved the styling. Later versions looked like someone carved a rough car-shape out of soap, and then ran hot water over 'em to make them 'aerodynamic'. Darn shame they couldn't make it long-term.

It'd also be interesting to see a curve of accidents per 100k miles. You're bored, doze off, go off the road, wreck the car... but you're protected by seat belts and air bags.

Might want to ask yourself - if they get shit about cars so wrong, why are you assuming the rest of the things they cover are any more accurate?

I'm in reasonably good health, but... well, I'll see in a few years. Don't have to decide yet...

My older brother started taking it at 62. He passed away at 65. Admittedly, he wasn't in good shape - but it helped him out in his last years. My dad lasted till he was 91 - so it's a crapshoot. Everybody's situation is different.

But so much fun... at times.

As fun as this is - I'd still like to see a Portal 3. Or a Half-Life 3.

Yeah... made out like a bandit, I'd say.

The assumption was that little kids wouldn't lie. Anyone who's raised kids knows that to be false, but the prosecutor was determined to make a name for himself. He fucked them over good and proper in doing so.

It's no longer allowed to defend yourself from any accusation. The accusation is, in itself, proof that you've done it from a 'social justice' standpoint.

Recently flew on Frontier, an early-morning flight out of Billings, MT. Plane was about 2/3rds full. The emergency exit row in front of me was empty - all six seats worth - those are 'premium' seats and the extra cost of $45 for an hour's flight to Denver wasn't worth an extra six inches of legroom to any of the
