I feel like the whole Danny storyline was kind of the low point of Season 8 for me, which otherwise I really enjoyed.

Hmm…obviously he recognized Missy as his future incarnation at some point, but would he have had time to do so quickly enough to come up with a plan to turn Bill into a Cyberman?

Come on, Rory is still well in the lead. He died in Amy's Choice, Cold Blood, Curse of the Black Spot, The Doctor's Wife, and The Angels Take Manhattan. Amy also has two deaths to her name (in The Girl Who Waited and The Angels Take Manhattan)

"Before the Flood" - also a Doctor Who title!

Adric and Nyssa were in Keeper of Traken with Beevers Master and then Logopolis and Castrovalva with Ainley Master. Martha and Captain Jack were in Utopia with Derek Jacobi Master and then Sound of Drums/Last of the Time Lords with Simm's Master. But weren't "Companions" to the Master, which isn't really a thing.

Courtney?

What about the "who knows which Cybermen these are?" Cybermen?

Telling people to do their homework to enjoy an all-ages family entertainment program doesn't seem like a particularly good idea.

You think better than Eleven/Amy/Rory? Who are the other three-piece ensembles since Four/Sarah/Harry? Do we count K-9? If K-9 doesn't count, I count Four/Romana II/Adric (State of Decay and Warriors' Gate), Five/Nyssa/Tegan (Time-Flight through Mawdryn Undead), Five/Tegan/Turlough (Enlightenment through Resurrection

But how did he know who Missy was? She'd of course recognize him as soon as she saw him, since she *was* him, but he hasn't been her yet.

Thandie Newton's busy with Westworld, no?

Worth noting that "The Girl Who Waited" was by Tom McRae, not Moffat. If we're counting that, what about "Before the Flood," (by Whithouse) where the Doctor waits in that tomb for like a 100 years?

It really was a loving tribute to the ludicrous Master disguises of the Ainley era.

It'd be nice to get a guest turn from Coleman in the Christmas special.

Well, at the end she's off running around with Ashildr…

David Warner was Professor Grisenko in Cold War (and played an alternate Doctor in a Big Finish Doctor Who audio). You're thinking of David Bradley, who played Hartnell in An Adventure in Space and Time.

Wasn't that what Attack of the Cybermen was supposed to be?

Is that the theory that he's the War Chief, or something else?

Clara - also sort of bisexual, no? Didn't she claim to have had a fling with Jane Austen?

Yeah, I think you can fanwank it to make it compatible with Spare Parts without too much difficulty if you're so inclined.
