Dear Yoko,
Dear Yoko,
Yeah. That’s my thought, and I have a feeling it’s the bride’s thought as well.
I think we can fight all the battles. It’s one whole disease, not a series of symptoms with only a few important parts.
I teach college. Let me depress you by telling you of the many, many, many times I’ve written “Africa is not a country. It is a continent” in the margins. Le sigh.
It’s going to be hard to separate the truth from the lies here. It is true, however, that her family allowed that deception for many years before outing her. That’s true. It’s true she’s white. That’s true. It’s not clear what her connections to the victim are here. Is it her adopted brother/sister? That’s not clear.
He is SUCH an asshole. I’m sure there was a charming story here, but I really dislike this evil jerk.
haha “The Youths.” I want to name a band that and populate the band with a bunch of people in their 80s.
It’s the 1980s. If you’ve ever seen “The Legend of Billie Jean” or any Pat Benatar from this time period, it gives you the whole look.
I’ve honestly had a hard time even discussing it because I’m torn between the clear fact that she needs help and the offensiveness of what she’s done.
There’s this, however, and it’s pretty damned interesting.
It’s crazy and offensive. But, also, just damned weird, to put on a racial identity like a costume. There’s a psychological study in this whole thing, of some kind. Basically, she’s leaving, but kind of doubling down at the same time. Wow.
My claim is that money makes all the difference. I’m going to continue to stand by that idea unless you can bring up some statistics that suggest otherwise.
I love that book. It’s so damned funny.
Actually, I make this argument every time anyone’s rights get violated. So. Got anything new to say? Because this is tiring, really. I believe all civil right cases are important, and that everyone deserves their civil rights. I make this argument whether you are white, black, asian, male, female, conservative,…
I accept that explanation. It is my fault for needing more coffee. I should have made it sooner in the day.
But, there’s no ... dress of hers there ... is there? Am I missing it? I am tired. I’ve only had one cup of coffee.
I’m confused. You mean Diana? The clueless virgin who was miserable the majority of her married life because her husband was cheating on her? I ... am confused.
Is Mitt trying to tell us something?
I’m gonna guess she was in her concert gear, probably the final outfit. This happened at a concert, right?
