I hope so, too. My baby made it 16 years, which is a really long life for a dog. May you have many more lovely years.

It’s been over 20 years since I ended friendships with two girls from high school. They were toxic, terrible people. They gossiped viciously about everyone, including me. They were mean about my life choices, my ideas, and everything else. Finally, one Christmas, after dealing with some serious rudeness on the phone,

My dog had dementia. You’ll know when she starts walking aimlessly in circles.

haha! Unlikely. As someone around that age, I don’t believe you in the slightest. And if you are that old and trolling, oh wow, time for some therapy.

That could be my bias as a woman. I’ve just seen so much awful stuff, sadly, mostly from relatives. The blatant cruelty and mean undercutting are just hideous. Then again, it’s all bad.

It’s so bizarro, because a lot of people participated in this. Her husband, her kids, her brothers and sisters, her parents ... the list goes on and on. It’s just so fucking weird.

LOL! Performance art????? Are people really saying that? Oh fuck a duck.

As a white woman, I can tell you straight out, you are totally right. I would say “worse” when it comes to the way a racist woman discusses women of color, honestly. The combination of “mean girl/racist” remarks ... it’s pretty fucking cutting.

I deeply love these gifs.

This makes me want to scream. It’s so fucking depressing. What the hell is wrong with people. I don’t even know any more.

This is just ... I mean ... this is a crazy shitshow.

I know you’re a troll, but this is an argument worth making.

Yes, I do realize that. That’s why I keep repeating it in my posts over and over and over. But, that’s not the argument being made by some of those people up top. It’s their arguments, that no civil rights were violated and that, because she’s rich, she doesn’t need civil rights. I don’t agree with that.

I will say it would be super nice if people could not get arrested for letting their children play in their own front yards. Because that happened recently. That’s why people stress so much.

It would, actually, as the family life would be better, and the work life would be better, all the way around. Think outside the wee box you have.

I am very happy as a mother, but I am very stressed out as a mother, and as a citizen, because bluntly, the life in the United States sucks now, for most of us. The middle class is nearly gone. Jobs are scarce. Asshats are plentiful and love to judge your lifestyle.

No. I get appalled when anyone’s rights are violated. You can keep trying to make me a villain so that your assumptions can be a good argument, but none of that is true. Your reasoning only works if I never argue about civil rights for anyone but white people or white women. Since I argue heavily, all the time, for

I argue this way for EVERYONE whose civil rights are abused. That’s the commentary you’ll find from me. I feel really strongly about this particular topic, and my opinion on it holds steady through every case, no matter who is involved.

That’s not true. A lot of people are arguing that. And that her rights weren’t violated in the first place.

My view is not self serving at all. I am calling for a country where all people get to enjoy their civil rights. Nor did I actually agree with that part about how, if some people fight it, everyone will get it. I have no idea. I don’t know if that’s necessarily true.
