This is far less egregious than any time the Olive Garden tried to pass itself off as Italian food.

I dunno, the brand is Italian. It never said “this specific box is from Italy” or whatever, it said that the brand is Italy’s “No. 1", which I believe it is. Anyone who thinks this statement is claiming that every box is produced in Italy is making a weird leap.

Box says made in the USA, seems like the only statement they have to live up to is the: “Italy’s No. 1 brand of pasta,” statement, which in no way says it’s made in Italy.  Is it actually in some fashion Italy’s no.1 brand of pasta?

I don’t know enough to comment on the 2015 allegation,”
You should probably have stopped typing when you got to that point in the comment. If you don’t even know enough in this day and age about the effects trauma, guilt and shame that have on victims then no comment at all would suffice.

I eat meat and enjoy Beyond/Impossible products interchangeably. I like knowing that I’m reducing my participation in factory farming, for example, and I feel slightly less weighed down by a Beyond burger than a normal one. But yes, even as someone within their target demographic, I don’t go out of my way to purchase

In Britain, the police would’ve been armed with extending batons, possibly tasers, wearing anti-stab vests and trained in de-escalation and non-lethal takedowns. It’s probably harder than you think to rush police from a distance and inflict a fatal stab wound on the person they’re talking to, when they’re already

You think if he started attacking his wife with a butcher knife, the two policemen present wouldn’t have had a much better chance of stopping him before he killed her? Knives can kill people, sure, but they don’t do it as quickly and easily, and they leave a lot more time and opportunity for other people to be heroes.

The presence of a gun in itself make the action more likely to happen. The presence of a gun multiply the chance of a woman being murdered by her spouse by 5. Part of it is mindset sure, a person more likely to kill their spouse is also more likely to have a gun, but part of it is that it doesn’t take the same mindset

These kinds of stories and accompanying facts are great reasons to stop relegating violence as an incel aberration because it’s something practiced by men regardless of relationship status and sexual activity.

Hm. I can empathize with both sides.

I audibly guffawed at that line from her. She sounds like a clown.

He directed some episodes of Who is America, so Cohen clearly disagrees with you.

Oh well thank god you "don't have anything against" us, I was worried for a minute

The answer to all of your questions is: social conditioning and some people’s inability to free themselves from it.

Maybe he’s a different person in actuality than his public persona or the roles he’s played? He’s not actually Dr. John Dorian, and Scrubs went off the air 12 years ago. His overall public persona to me seems rather affable and inoffensive. They’ve been together a long time now, and they seem happy, so why does anyone

She is great, but Nyla is the queen of shit posting and it’s not even close. Asuka is great too though.

Can’t wait until mainstream media finds out about the Ring Boy Scandal.

Blaming “feminists” here is rather strange. I also wonder what “superfluous fights” you’re referring to. I won’t assume anything, but which are those?

I saw the movie with my son today and the infamous “kiss” is one character being greeted by her spouse, child , and friends for their wedding anniversary (40th! God forbid Disney implies folk have long lasting marriages.) and the two partners exchange what at best is a quick peck.
Worried folk will have more to
