I have been critical of his show.  I just didn’t get it.  These last several months when I tune in he makes me laugh...smile.  What he said today is 100% on the money.  Thank god he had the balls to say it.  The world is a better place because of him.

I love the Dan LeBatard with Stugotz show, but I don’t see them topping today. It had everything. Billy’s odd encounters, Mina being a worse story teller than Billy, 2 segments about R. Kelly, and then the Trump stuff. Only Ron Macgill and Greg Cote HNO’s could have made this show better today. 

Well said. Dan was, and remains, the best thing about ESPN. (especially in the wake of Bob Ley exiting stage left)

Nah, Mina Kimes and Clinton Yates are both great, they just need more airtime. Katie Nolan too but honestly she’s been so poorly used at ESPN I actually have no idea if she still works there.

The entire show today should win an Emmy. Before this they spent 2 segments on R Keely. The also sent Mina Kimes to the ocean for dumb shit with Saquon Barkley just before this segment. 

They are both the smartest and most dumb people in sports radio at the same time. I get the the show, and I appreciate this part about them. 

This is all so true, and if he ever did get fired, he could take Stu and the entire shipping container, start somewhere else, and be just as popular as now because his show transcends ESPN. They don’t need ESPN as much as ESPN needs them.

I absolutely love Le Batard, because he gets it. His show with Stugotz is stupid, irreverant, and not at all serious. Just like Sports. They understand that none of this stuff actually matters, and they give sports news all of the respect that it has earned, which is to say none at all. Instead they have fun, because…

LeBatard is one of the most consistent, entertaining voices at ESPN. Suspending him would only confirm and reinforce everything he said.
