Or you could still use Uber so that drivers, like me, can still earn some extra money?

Orlando this year.
The only way that a Minimum tied to inflation would work is if all other wages also rose at inflation rates....this is not currently happening
It’s not so much how a loan works, but rather how a loan will affect your budgeting. Most 17- or 18-year olds have no clue how much housing, food, utilities, insurance, etc. will cost. Additionally, your monthly payment is not disclosed to you upon signing of the promissory note.
You were incredibly lucky to have parents who understood the system. Many people are going in blind. They read the application, see how much they can receive, but are not taught (either through school or the loan system) what a loan of $30k becomes in ten years.
I agree with your premise, but how many 18-year-olds, without degrees, do you know who earn $30k+ a year? State schools in the northeast are approaching this amount...
I agree and disagree at the same time. College costs need to be held in check, but everyone should have the opportunity to have a good education. College should not be free, but simply needs to be accessible to anybody who wants it.
COUNTERPOINT to my previous comment: College is not necessary for a career. We need more tradespeople. We still need career diversity. Vocational schools should be optimized for our current needs.
I agree with your whole premise, but students cannot avoid high costs. In-state costs at public universities continue to rise faster than inflation. Private universities are charging Mercedes-a-year money for sub-par education.
It is spectacular, especially ‘Hot Cheese Up Front’ $1 slices after the bars on a late Friday night.
HAVE YOU NEVER HAD ANTONIO’S???????????
NAH NAH NAH you can’t mess with Antonio’s——yes it is very different from NY and CHI slices, but it is superb.
As a driver, I am rarely, if ever, tipped. Perhaps a rider will for a trip that is out of the way, but it is very rare.
I dunno. The color just pops and the detail is incredible. I haven’t seen anything like it since the old TG or Planet Earth
You do have to agree that the cinematography is like a fine piece of artwork....
....that’s the joke
If you look at it, Trump was not the traditional GOP candidate, and not handpicked by party leaders. He was picked by the people.
Much easier to try and deal with situations at a slower speed. Gives you more time to think.
I refuse to even get close to 128 between 4pm and 8pm. I would much rather take a slower, longer route through the backroads. I hate dealing with the constant bumper-to-bumper warfare at under 5mph.
Welcome to the entire North Shore of MA. As a NH transplant, I am continuously outraged by people who decide that blocking a lane of oncoming traffic is acceptable.
