“Gosh, have I heard lots of complaints about this year’s tax returns.”
“Gosh, have I heard lots of complaints about this year’s tax returns.”
Some clown further up the comments said your wants and desires are effectively a ‘counterfactual fallacy’.
That bad? No - it still operates as a car and gets you from A->B. Fun, not really. I drive both, I don’t care for FWD during spirited driving. RWD can make an under-powered shit-box feel fun.
Trick question...
ignores the fact that you immediately countered your initial argument...
+1 This is becoming true of so many cars... It is interesting how strong the demand for a more tactile, analog, manual car (70's Datsuns right through this car) seems to be accelerating, yet there simply is nothing new coming to fill that demand.
Hahaha. I can’t believe you are closing with such obvious and simple advice. “If you can’t afford something expensive, buy something like it that is cheaper” As if anyone would listen to that...
I love anything that puts a dent in the absurd dealership model here in the US. That said, have we completely given up on the idea of a person actually experiencing a product this costly before purchasing?
Listen, I’m not going to presume to know you so I won’t lay down name calling, but here is what I’ve gathered so far.
You’re right. I’m a dumb-ass. it is impossible for a home to be a sound investment unless it is in an HOA.
I would love to have David as a neighbor. I have plenty of projects he could help me with.
I think you missed the point.
Here is the crazy part: It is these exact people that make all of this shit more expensive for the herd. It only takes on idiot to drop $90k on a used clown shoe BMW for the ‘value’ to jump immensely. Apparently, a (admittedly very cool) 4x4 disel LUV is heading there as well.
The correct answer is that front plates are stupid.
1st Gear: So similar to their other products, I wonder if Apple slows its cars down when the batteries get old to, ya know, protect the batteries...
No.
NASCAR (and presumably many other series) have implemented a cut-off strategy when the ECU senses too much throttle and brake pressure at the same time. Basically if you have a stuck throttle and you mash the brake pedal it will cut fuel under the presumption you have a stuck throttle. I guess that would be more…
Thank you for this post.
5th Gear:
The hard pill to swallow is that for those of us who need trucks on the occasion for actual truck-related reason, it is getting absurdly difficult to justify the cost. You can’t strip one down enough anymore to make it a financially viable second vehicle and they hold too much value to make buying a quality used truck…
