Those drivtrain vibrations are awful to listen to. Those folks need to do some work on gear-train backlash, driveline vibration/damping, torque/controller tuning and understand what tire relaxation length means.

SHHHH! Dont tell people how the market is manipulated! SUV’s and trucks are great!

I think it would be more fair to suggest this would create another avenue to hack an autonomous vehicle. It seems completely likely that whether authorities have that power or not, someone will figure it out anyway. Remember there is a push for V2V communications as well. This creates a conduit for connecting to the

Our future..

Well how about that:  A new Supra with a manual transmission after all!

...as are the days of objectivity in SCOTUS.

Spot on. There is always someone willing to game a market with non-market-based influences.

Sounds like someone struck a chord.

Government wins. Where do you think all of that tariff revenue will go? Isn’t that what most (read slim majority of) people want? Larger, stronger government that has more money with which to do things!

Fair I suppose, but is it no longer possible to use a phone as a hot spot? Not trying to take down, just trying to see a value that is something beyond what appears to me, a gimmick.

Neutral: Fucking pointless, in my humble opinion... Seems like you trade your cellular service on your phone for ‘WiFi’ in your car that still uses cellular service to connect to the world, that you pay extra for.

Well last I checked, India was not in the EU. Though, they have been working on a free-trade deal with the EU for 10 years. The way I read the article, the production will move to the EU, not an EU trading partner.

Good for you. Still, your comment changes nothing about my sentiment.

1st: While I do NOT support a trade war, I do find it interesting that the idea of a tariff will be helpful for European workers. First gear is an example: HD is going to move some of its operation to Europe to avoid tariffs in a profitable market. Objectively, that is the purpose of tariffs here as well.

“Ran when parked.”

Cool, another article about something we can’t buy in the U.S.

Thanks for presuming I fall into any particular category. I am one of those ‘highly-educated people’ as you put it and don’t fall into a liberal category (or Trump/republican either). I also don’t happen to look down on a particular class of people based on education since not all people have equal opportunity for

I assume you have a mountain of data to support this claim?

I’m failing to see what any of this has to do with being liberal. Having a PhD or working in aerospace makes you liberal? Playing hockey rather than football? What do any of these things have to do with political affiliation?

What you just described is exactly where things are heading. Appliances. People don’t go to Bed, Bath and Beyond to learn about a toaster and negotiate the terms with a sales representative in order to buy one. How will buying an electrified, people-pod be any different in the near future? Sounds like Chevy dealers
