I do ~3 miles each way almost every work day. Takes me 10 minutes and I’m not fast. Yes, a bike would be ideal. But this means he could get a better job that’s a bit farther away or drive to some career training - like taking up an Electrician’s Apprenticeship if he’s inclined.

Here comes the hot take - tortilla’s in any form are better than buns with one exception - pretzel buns are better. All other buns are behind good tortillas either corn (soft), flour (soft), corn (crispy), or flour (crispy - which is the tortilla winner in my book).
