They don't have Canadian accents though.

Agreed, DA2 was such a huge disappointment. To me they did everything wrong, went in every possible wrong direction with design decisions, and the further you went, the more agonizing it was to play through. How do you trust them with 60$ on day one after that? It will take a lot of good reviews from people I trust to

Psychonauts was one of my very favorite PS2 games. I played through it a half-dozen times at least. I was mystified when I learned it was thought of as a poor-selling "cult" game.

Sorry to be picky but since this is a how-to video— bad placement on the herbalist and gatherer. It says in the help or descriptions that they must be built in a forest with old trees (i.e. not next to a forester but in woods,) for things to grow beneath them. You built them in a wide open space that had been

I thought the menu/building options seemed a little sparse at first also, but Banished only seems simple at the outset. As your town gets larger and larger so do the problems and myriad things that must be managed and balanced. I'm only up to about 80 citizens, (not anywhere near the 300 needed for some of the

Banished just came out on tuesday and it's wonderful.

What's really great is that this video has clearly been *edited*. Meaning he didn't just drunkenly record it and post it, he sat down and watched it and cut out the parts he didn't think were good enough, then gave us the rest.

No Kentucky Route Zero? Atmospheric for days and funny, easily my favorite this year. Maybe it doesn't count because it's not done yet...

Agreed. Gaming has suffered a lot over the last generation because of the push for photorealism. Creative fun games with artistic/clever graphics instead of realistic ones have been relegated almost entirely to the indie game world. Big console releases get more and more boring...and this is a big reason why.

I had always regarded Courtney as dumb reality show trash, since that's basically the only way she's been portrayed in the media. But seeing her on Celebrity Big Brother (the whole season is on youtube and so worth it,) was honestly a revelation. It was a great show and she was fascinating to watch. She's not stupid,

Maybe he said those things so you would discuss them, instead of discussing her longtime status as a hack and a warmonger with a constant and clear right-wing bias.

I have a hard time believing he meant this seriously. Several of his films have (relatively) positive portrayals of gay and transgender characters. (The secretly male geisha from Zatoichi for starters.)
