Totally agree...I grew up with A/C and vent windows, and both have their place. My old man theorizes that the vent windows disappeared mainly due to security, which seems like a legit reasonable argument. Volvo V70R or Saab 9-3 TurboX Sportcombi. Longroof wagons (lots of space in the back for stuff) with a manual or automatic, turbocharged with tons of power, comfy for long trips, AWD and good in all weather, and fun to drive in the twisties. Oh, and great cars for kids.
