Btw, a little trivia I found watching the show. Simu Liu (before he played Marvel’s Shang-Chi) played an air traffic controller in the episode of the bounce landing crash in Tokyo. :D
Yes, but they didn’t have enough time to blow him up.
You may be on the wrong site for that take.
how hot of a hatch? the Chevy Bolt will do 0-60 in 6.5 seconds (by comparison a Focus ST was around 6.3 and a GTI is around 5.9-6), has a hatch, and weighs roughly 3500 lbs, and costs less than $35k.
That’d be great if Ford made a Ranger EV, again.
It’s still less crazy and more attainable than the Smart ForFun, which was a Smart sitting on a Unimog chassis built by Smart’s Greek importer.
During my teens, my neighbor directly across the street was a regional sales rep for Oscar Mayer. On several occasions the Weinermobile was parked in front of my house. To say that it accelerates slowly is being incredibly generous. It’s like watching a freight train starting to move.
Agreed on the mirage. Imagine how fun it would be with a 3 cyl. turbo.
*Sigh*
I love everything about this comment!

I took the same flight... Ah the Aer Lingus 747. Lounge upstairs with piano... thick cigarette smoke... nuns that clap when you land.
perhaps DHL?
I got lucky on a business trip to India about 10 years ago. Boss went with me and he never flew coach like us plebes. Got what I considered to be an epic seat on the upper deck of a Lufthansa 747 from SFO to Frankfurt. Best flight I’ve ever had.
That sounds absolutely grand. I’m hoping to get my passport this year. In part so I can join a former colleague on an adventure down under, and in part so I can finally strike “ride in a 747" off of my bucket list.
You may not be able to fly on one once passenger variants are fully retired

No, I do not want to drive that.
It was now Smart, for Swatch Mercedes Art.
