I think it depends on pricing. Nintendo famously doesn’t like to cut prices on its hardware or software, so the “original” Switch might stay on the market at $300 US, the lower-end “Switch Lite” at under $200, and the beefier “Switch Pro” around $400.

I always liked Metal Man for his design, his stage theme, and his sweet OP weapon get after you KO him. But my favorite is probably Guts Man, since he comes back as a TANK in MM2, then is rebuilt again as Guts Man G in MM7. Apparently he was Dr. Wily’s favorite, too!

Great write-up. I live in San Jose and I was lucky enough to attend. Tons of fun, great crowd, lively atmosphere. I highly recommend anyone with even a passing interest in Smash find a local tournament and check it out. It’s a great community.
