Xbox / PC exclusive. I believe Microsoft partially funded it.

Agreed. The absence of No More Heroes III is either a baffling omission or an unfortunate oversight.

What a world we live in, wherein a game that earns $20 million per year is a failure.

It is technically the most popular game in the world, based on the number of users. However, almost all of its players are in China. A “Westernized” version, Arena of Valor, is available internationally, and it has not exactly been super popular.

You haven’t heard of it because it’s basically unknown outside of China. Calling it the “most popular game in the world” is technically true, because it has the largest number of players. However, less than 20 percent of its audience is outside of China (source: activeplayer.io), where it is known as Arena of Valor.

Perhaps death threats in general would be less of a problem if law enforcement could actually them seriously.

Haha yeah the irony was not lost on me. I’ve stuck around for a few editors / writers I really like (Fahey, Bash, Luke, etc.)

Longtime Speedrun.com user here. The site was great until the new owners took over last year. It almost immediately fell of a cliff and spiraled into a slow-loading, ad-infested, forced-autoplay-video cesspool. This latest self-destructive move was the last straw for me.

Minor point FWIW, but I don’t believe any Kirby titles were developed by Nintendo itself. Virtually all of them were developed by HAL Laboratory, a third-party studio. Nintendo just owns the IP.

I didn’t see it until I watched the trailer a second time, but in the very first few frames there is a “PLATINUM” billboard in the background. Easy to miss.

But the absence only makes sense. Kirby’s creator, Masahiro Sakurai, has been busy with a little game called Super Smash Bros. Ultimate for the last several years.

I thought this was an actual review of humankind, as in, humanity. People. Us.

According to SpeedRun.com, the world record has already been broken using the new skip:

If states want to reduce power consumption and energy waste, maybe they could start by taking a look at the thousands of businesses using power to keep their signs and parking lots lit all night, every night, while they are closed... or the millions upon millions of street lights that create perpetual twilight in our

Ya beat me to it. I know Nintendo doesn’t fully own Pokemon, but its track record with cancelling unannounced media partnerships in response to leaks means Netflix may not want to start planning an ad campaign just yet.

I literally did this. Thumb-typo’ed “stream deck” on my phone yesterday and was baffled by the results.

If nothing else, one of the best results of Sakurai-san’s frustration with the Minecraft music is that we got the fantastic arrangement of “Toys on a Tear” by the legendary Yuzo Koshiro.

“I can’t deal with this music... I’ll just call the greatest composer in game history and ask him to deal with it.”

I really hope he doesn’t end up getting nuked from space by Nintendo, like they did with the Nintendo Power scan project at the Internet Archive.

Still watching the first, original 1996 series NGE for the first time. It’s definitely got my interest and I’ll explore the other sequels, spin-offs, etc.

Several days ago, I began watching the original Neon Genesis Evangelion series for the first time, on Netflix. I went in completely blind, knowing nothing about it. I’m really enjoying it so far and eager to finish it so I can start checking out the movies, at least two of which are also on Netflix.

Not many TV shows
