Honestly, the only 2016 release I’ve absolutely loved so far is The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD. Granted, my PC is not fully-functional, so I haven’t tried any of this year’s big releases for non-Nintendo platforms.

Easily one of the best user-created Mario courses I’ve ever played. It’s so good, and so challenging, and I kept trying over and over again until I finally beat it — without ever getting frustrated or bored. A masterpiece. So creative!

Checked first to see if anyone else answered this. It was necessary for games with a battery back-up — apparently a “hard” off could reset the memory. I lost a Legend of Zelda file to a power outage because of this, MANY years ago.
