I bought at launch. For non-Nintendo fanboys, I would recommend buying it later, because I'm confident another price drop is imminent (maybe late summer, not likely at E3). If you wait another year, Nintendo may have finally pulled a Microsoft / Kinect move and made the GamePad optional, selling the box and a Pro

I bought my Wii U at launch. In brief, I really like it, and I'm glad I own it. On its own, it holds up as a very good console.

LOVE that Buster Sword-style blade.

He's going to have a hard time turning the switch off from below like that.

You think NBA unis are bad now, wait until Adam Silver's advertisements start showing up season after next.

What model NES lets you plug in the Zapper to the Power button instead of the controller port?

Just don't ask Jason Schreirer what he thinks about The After Years.

Also available on the Wii Virtual Console (accessible on Wii U via Wii Mode).

Chrono Trigger is also available on the Wii Virtual Console, or on Wii U by accessing Wii Mode and going to the Wii Shop there.

Totally agree. This was also my first JRPG (or RPG of any genre). I was never interested in RPGs prior, believing they were too complicated with their layered menus, hundreds of items and turn-taking battles. Then I got a Wii, and since I never played SMRPG for Super NES, I figured what the heck, I'll download it

YUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU look a lot like that Meiji-era photo. Are Yu a vampire?

Anyone in Atlanta will tell you that the last image does not, in fact, show anything "convenient" about getting there from Buckhead or downtown, as it apparently involves I-75 and Cobb Parkway. I will guess that 10-mile drive will be an hour to 90 minutes each way before and after games.

Console Wars: The Game?

One addition for May 15: Moon Chronicles hits the 3DS eShop.

Lived in Atlanta four years now and never heard of this place... thanks for changing that!

Interestingly, both Shaq Fu and Cult County had about the same number of backers (1,300 for SF, and 1,400 for CC). I'm inclined to believe the Shaq Fu game was funded by wealthy friends of O'Neill and flush fans who had money to burn to be in his game, have him tweet to them or whatever. It's a vanity project.

So... it turns out the Gaplus / Galaga / Galaxian games' starfighter pilots were actually Pac-Man (or his descendants) in the distant future? And I thought the Zelda timeline was complicated...

My guess is they will go along because what Sterling is accused of is so aggregious, no free agent will ever want to play for him again, and most / all of the current roster will demand trades or flee as soon as their contracts have ended. Few owners would do something so stupid (at least deliberately).

What do you mean "we've"? >:/

Kidding. Hope all is well at the new gig... and glad to see Gawker didn't delete / block your Kinja account.

I seriously love the diversity of your staff. It's one of the reasons this is my favorite site!
