LOVED that game so much, especially with the enhancements on Super Game Boy
I was surprised to learn (fairly recently) that the jumping Asian-dressed guys in the final level are supposed to be "jiangshi", a sort of Chinese vampire-zombie.
Is that supposed to be like a Tamagotchi or something?
SO MUCH THIS
It's not Lent. That ended April 17.
I only had one Game Boy - the original model, a gift for Christmas 1989. Like everyone else, I played Tetris to death, and it remains my favorite Game Boy title.
I laughed, and laughed, and LAUGHED at this. Amazing. Fine work. That said, this game must have a hell of a lot of content if they didn't just unleash a ton of spoilers.
It's worth mentioning that the father is a computer security engineer himself, so maybe the apple doesn't fall too far from the tree.
I have to admit, I played and finished this game for the first time only last year. But I didn't even give RPGs a thought until a few years ago (my "gateway drug" was Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars). Red Sox Nation?
IT'S OVER

The boy was pleading and trying to negotiate and the associate wouldn't budge. "You need a parent with you to buy that," over and over. I lack that sort of…
As others said, "Peanuts" was licensed to death during Schulz's lifetime, from Met Life commercials to video games (Snoopy's Sports Spectacular on NES, anyone?) to apparel, bedsheets / housewares, plush toys, bobbleheads, Hallmark cards, etc. etc. etc. Any reservations he would have about a theatrical film would be…
I *almost* backed this but decided not to at the last minute... glad I trusted my gut.
I didn't even know this was a thing. Someone call AVGN
This was much funnier than I expected, given the length. "Princess Toadstool," "cat 'shrooms", etc. I about lost it when he referred to the "propeller hat in Super Mario Bros. 6"
I literally came here to see if this meant you, Ellen, would be leaving the USA comment boards :(
Luke, will you be the editor of the sub-site here or will all the Kotaku regulars be posting at their leisure?
