Nah, leave it up to local municipalities to make their call. I’ve had countless hours of my life wasted yearly due to having to wait at intersections at red lights where absolutely zero cars passed through the intersection for the entirety of the light cylce as I was waiting for green. I’d add ban the bs left turn

Counterpoint: Why does anyone truly want to ride a bike all the time?

Too bad this would require the trash folks to put the can back, I never know where I will find mine on trash and recycling days.

It’s bad, judgmental writing.  Jalopnik has gone downhill.  Does Jalop characterize racing as events for rich douchebags?  They can do better, but choose not to.

lead to water egress if not addressed

I originally thought an easy ND. This thing is ugly. And nobody desired them back in the day. And they drove like shit. Though 17 year old me did have fun with the V8 in one, even if it was a late malaise 318.

If they refer to their vehicle as a “Landy” or “Disco” or their JLR car as a, god forbid, “Jag,” you should walk away slowly.

At 64 with a car from 2010, I seriously doubt I’ll buy another car in my lifetime. Too much shit going on like this. Never mind the prices going up and up.

I admit I’ve never driven one, but I’ve never heard them as being amazing to drive. But I always thought they looked pretty nice (and agree the Firebird was a bit better). Well, nice on the outside anyway.

Good heavens that is in good condition. I do not want one, but if I did I expect that I’d want this one. It looks new. Someone will buy this.

If I could only see the “sh*t mechanics tell their unsuspecting customers” to upsell them on crap channel to balance this out.

I see several angles to this: first, car repair is so expensive, new cars, used cars, are also so expensive that you are seeing what people do in desperation.

Second: you see ignorance. People

Really? It’s easy! I passed my drug test. They said I even tested positive for drugs they hadn’t even heard of!

While working on an assembly line ain't great fun, it beats the shit outta working in a fast food restaurant any day. Anyone who takes a job at Mickey-Ds over putting cars together has lost their damn minds.

too bad they stopped the EV3 development

That’s about the right price for an auto trans LS 4th gen. I’d hold out for a stick but someone who likes going straight for 1320 ft would probably pay that.

I don’t have remorse over buying it. It’s my favorite car I’ve ever owned, even if I end up having to get rid of it or spend $3k on repairs because the frame is about shot. I bought it with cash from the payout of a totaled Subaru Legacy, and I’d do it again. My only regret is that I probably could have gone down to $6

Assume you’re going to be buying this vehicle only, or almost only, to use it to plow. Let’s say — like me — that you’ve got a mile or two of dirt road between where you’re staying in winter and the nearest pavement, and you somehow need to get the snow off of that.

Well, I bought a 2002 in 2018 with 187k miles, an automatic, significantly more rust, and a soft top for $6500, so I’d be a hypocrite if I voted No Dice.

Mods seem tasteful to me, maybe with the exception of the hood not being able to close over the new engine. The garish K&N air cleaners gotta go, and maybe a low profile unit would clear the original hood? Otherwise this is a good weekender — disc brakes and a more powerful engine are functional mods that make this

I like it. Dead simple. Good updates. Just not 18k worth of like.
