I recently notice the absence of portholes in the newer Buicks. My first thought was, “well, there goes Buick, down the road like Pontiac and Oldsmobile”. It’s a shame that these stalwarts of the 50's and 60's are no longer relevant.

Using the Sam’s Club card for gasoline gives me 5% back (NOT 5 cents per gallon) on any gas purchased ANYWHERE, up to 5000 gallons. The money is in Sam’s Cash, but it makes a difference as I do plenty of shopping at Sam’s Club.

Kind of a ridiculous article. None of them? Yeah, that works. Properly maintained, most cars will last many miles and many years. I have owned several Grand Cherokee’s and am currently loving a Durango Hellcat. I won’t say that they have been flawless, but for the most part, they have been pretty reliable. Seems

Out of curiosity, I rented one of these through Turo last year when I spent two weeks in San Francisco/Oakland. It was definately a hoot! I had a great time with it, and came close to looking for one to add to my home “fleet”.

Handle properly? Yeah, as long as you had real strong arms. The torque steer on these babies would challenge Popeye to keep the thing heading in a straight line under heavy acceleration.

All I can say is that I have several cars insured with  Foremost Insurance (owned by Farmer’s) and over the years have had several claims. The claims have always been handled quickly and fairly. Additionally, I have had other cars with Progressive, filed one major claim with them, and it was again handled quickly.

I expect that $5 billion is in ADDITION to the current budget.

I recently switched to Allstate for my two main cars. The agent was dead set on getting me to sign up for their “Driver Safety” app. “It could save you up to 10% on your renewal!!!” Doubt it. Not the way I drive. I have studiously ignored their pleas to sign up.

Guess I’m a bit prejudiced, since I have a 1991 FC Convertible in my “fleet”. It’s hard these days to find an RX7 that has not been modified to hell and back at a price this low. Assuming the obligatory compression test is within range, gotta say Very Nice Price!!!

Funny. After reading this article, I flipped over to FB Marketplace and came upon a 1991 model for $2000. It looked good, too.

At a Car Show held weekly at the local Go Cart Track, there appears a Pontiac Solstice with an LS1 conversion. It’s pretty damn slick, and the engine fits like a glove. With the hood down, you would never know. If you are gonna do something to a car like this, at least it should still look like the original car and no

Glad I’m not the only one who feels this way. That “Space Baby” episode left me cold. I gave up on the Jody Whitiker series about halfway through.

My 45 year old Daughter, while visiting Treasure Island in San Francisco last weekend, sent me a picture of a Cybertruck she saw parked there. She wanted to know “what the hell is this thing” and why is it so ugly. Since she is probably right in the demographic for this offering, this is probably not a good sign for

This, right here. Sometimes I swear my garage door reverses when it hits a bit of dust. And my Durango hatch will reverse if ANYTHING is in the way. This is not new technology.

I have actually been toying with the idea of trading my Durango Hellcat in for a Jeep Rubicon SRT. Just the idea of a 6.2 liter engine in a Jeep kind of turns me on.

Last year I totaled my 2000 XK8. The insurance company gave me a $9900 pay out. I then went out and bought a 2001 model (in better condition) for $9500. However, lately the prices of the XK8's seem to be dropping dramatically, I just saw one on Marketplace for $4000 which looked to be in pretty good shape.

Gotta jump in on this one. Been driving Little British Cars since my first TR4 back in the 70's. Learned early on that there is a distinct method to getting in and out of these little cars. Currently drive an XK8, Mazda FC Drop Top and a TR8. My biggest problem getting in and out of the XK8 is that the doors are too

A friend of mine recently finished restoring a Jag Mk2. It was the car he used in college, and has managed to keep it all of this time (he’s about 65 now). The car is beautiful, and runs well with no problems. I won’t say how much it cost him to restore, but he could afford it. Beautiful car, and wins hands down at

I totaled my 2000 Jaguar XK8. I took the money from the indurance company and got a 2001 JaguarXK8 which ran better, looked better and was $500 less than my payout. I’m happy.
