Shouldn't they be playing instruments?

If you are looking for some entertainment, download the xml files and start searching for swear words.

I always wondered why they have the door on the left side. If you want to be different, why not have it on the right? If you parallel park you won't have to open the door into traffic. It would be a lot safer for your passenger who has to crawl out of the back seat.

Was that a Geo Storm? You better be saving money if all you have to do is blow up a simple car.

"Hey guys, we provide this thing called Chrome Apps for Desktop, you should use it!"
...doesn't use it for their own desktop app

He sold it for $1,500, so I'm not sure he needs to worry about going for a larger denomination :)

I was just listening to Everclear the other day. I'll always have respect for how that guy was able to write songs that expressed his troubles growing up so well.

I had to work at a highrise office for a week, which was on the 80th floor. It was a pain to do anything outside of the office. You had to plan your exits carefully - forget something like a wallet and you had to spend an additional 10-20 minutes in elevators. We were also out of range of cell phone reception at

Another device that we'll hear endless rumors about getting Amazon streaming. Yay.

Lots of snarky things could be said about this, but I'll just point out that the second desk looks very boring.

Maybe they should try to make it as modular as possible, with lots of upgrades (bigger hard drive, HD screen, etc) so people can choose what is most important to them.

Still less creepy than Google Glass. Maybe this is as small as full-featured watches can get with current technology?

I boarded a flight in Germany that had the front half of the passengers board from the front door, and the rear half of the passengers board from the back door. I'd imagine that would involve more complexity for the ground crew, but we did board rather quickly.

We bought a (refurbished) Toshiba Portege 4 years ago and it's still working well. At the time I was looking for something thin and lightweight. It's not thin, but it weights only 3.5lbs and came with everything under the sun, including USB3 and DVD. I was always hoping they would continue to improve the lineup.

Considering the price, I'm surprised they aren't setup as some sort of decentralized social network with encryption. If I had that much money, I think I would want some additional security measures other than obscurity.

Newer kiosks are becoming more and more like computers, and some companies are just using tablets these days. It seems to me that just about any payment scheme can be easily added these days. I've seen several accept paypal, I wonder if I should look into finding a shorter email address.

I like it for sharing kid photos with the family. I setup a circle and share all our photos there. It's up to them to determine how they want to be notified. It's also nice that I can move photos that have been backed up from my phone into shared albums from my desktop.

Maybe this isn't possible yet, but after watching all these watch demos I am much more interested in a stand-alone smart watch. It might make for terrible phone calls, but the GPS, heartbeat, and communication aspects seem much more appealing if I didn't have to pair it up with my smart phone.

I just use Clearly now. I got so annoyed with Web Clipper on Firefox, which always seems to be behind the Chrome version, that I gave it up entirely on both browsers.
