I learned about sleep paralysis (I’d never heard of it before) one night watching a documentary, and I found it super-interesting.

I remember going blackberry picking once and finding a spot where the blackberries and the morning glory were in a fight to the death. I should go back and see which one finally managed to strangle the other.

Ah, so it’s the same phenomenon as the “emerald flash” that can sometimes be seen when the upper edge of the sun is just appearing over the horizon.

You still have no evidence, I see.

Do. You. Have. Any. Evidence.

I know heat kills Salmonella, so I’m always surprised that drying it out does not, i.e. when things like dried parsley or Captain Crunch gets recalled.

Do you have evidence there would be so much fraud that student loans would cease to exist?

I watched this movie in theatres with a friend, and she loved it so much, and I (also female) thought it was so crappy.

Melania, at least, does seem to love her son.

Okay, I’ve tried doing the bacon-egg-and-cheese baked a muffin tin thing, and 30 minutes in the oven was not enough to make the bacon anything but wobbly blobby awfulness. It was not crisp, and I’m not even certain it was cooked. I had to bake it for another 30 minutes for it to be non-repulsive (and still not crisp).

I’m confused why you say it didn’t make biological sense to begin with.

If you put a big (like 12 litre) jug of bottled water in your fridge, it will help keep the temperature stabilized.

Well, the first name is one of the characters from the musical Cats, and I’m of the opinion I will never understand anything related to the musical Cats, so I glided over the rest of that post without feeling troubled by my lack of comprehension.

Okay, it sounds like your former partner was a REAL asshole, but her issue with porn was just another way to get a grip on you when it came to her over-arching goal of being a horrific, controlling monster when it came to you.

If the rules for student debt were the same as any debt, I’d agree with you, but the whole “No bankruptcy option for you!” makes the system inherently unfair, and unjust laws should not be respected.

Aw, c’mon, someone has to make a dirty joke about that top image.

Some missing/glossed over dirt:

When they divorced (12 years ago), she got a $46.68 million settlement from him.

Reminds me of a story I heard about when I was in university about a new research building, which was built with lots of necessary infrastructure, like the capacity to bring in plenty of electricity or ventilate many fume hoods, etc.
