This reminds me of the time when I was driving I-70 during a snowstorm and 2 pickup trucks went roaring past me... and within 2 or three miles I saw both of them spinning separately off the highway in (thankfully) single vehicle accidents. I laughed and laughed.

VW auto transmissions have “lifetime fluid” and no dip stick or filler cap. They do, however, have a drain plug. If you’re not paying attention, that transmission drain plug looks like the engine drain plug. Ask me how I know.

I always use, “ By the way, what’s your safe word?”, as an icebreaker.

I find “with all due respect” to be VERY tonal.

Even better, (when in person) “I haven’t been able to taste anything for days, do you think I have CoVID?” That, along with a cough or two, is a great way to end a conversation.

How about “Does this look infected to you?” (grin)

I don’t even consider “Per my last e-mail” to be excessively passive aggressive. To me, it’s succinct and to the point. But I’m the person who is out there trying to normalize more direct professional communication without all of the equivocating bullshit that we often expect (particularly from women) in the

This comment wont go appreciated enough, well done

They’re probably thinking something like “great, additional talented hands so maybe I won’t have to work 60-80 hour weeks on our next project.”

THIS is why they scare me. I suspect I am likely to get a ticket if I assume that’s a civilian.

Wish it had been one of those Chargers with the multicolored flashing lights, that'd have been great.

who the hell hoons a 12 year-old, four cylinder wagon?

He drove his Chevy to the levy, but regretfully, the levy was not dry.

So the government mandated TPMS, but didn’t require that all automakers display tire pressure at each wheel?

I’d toss in a Romanian into the mix.
