I’ve test-driven both NA and ND Miatas, and I can see why people are so easily convertible to the Church of Miata.

Best thing for Tesla would be a buy out by a good quality established manufacturer.   Tesla can focus on design and pushing the envelope, while a manufacturer (like Toyota) can use their expertise in production.
