I don’t know the details of Ghosn’s case, but I will say this: Japan has a 99.9% conviction rate. Their justice system has flaws that I can’t quite support. When he says it’s a rigged justice system, he’s not wrong. Getting a fair trial, by American standards at least, is impossible in Japan.

The next-gen Fit’s being discontinued for the US market.

Look, Toyota (and a few others) have had this system down for decades now. Make a good cheap car so that when the customer makes a little more money they’ll come back to you to buy a more expensive car, and so on up the ladder they climb. The Corolla is the gateway drug, they know one day you’ll want a Lexus. The

Exactly this. I bought a Focus ST because I wanted it, and now Ford doesn’t even want my loyalty by making me look elsewhere when I need to replace it.

I was very pleased with my Focus ST. It was, in fact, silver. I was looking forwards to the next generation RS.

That sinkhole is the best thing to ever happen to the Corvette Museum, and they know it. They’ve dedicated so much floor space to exhibits on the damned sinkhole. Models, geological exhibits, a simulator that lets you pick the cars out of the hole.

I’m not a physics major by any means, but aren’t we having a compounding issue with Safety and Weight? As in, with more safety structure, weight will increase. With increase weight (mass), your acceleration of that mass and it suddenly being stopped (in an accident), increases the risk of more damage to the safety

I, for one, love the look of the thing.  It’s like an alternative future from the 1970s.  I also can’t believe how fucking big it is.  Why ‘Murica, why does everything have to be supersized here at the land of plenty?  I mean, do we really need anything that’s that big, or are we so fucking fat that we just don’t fit

Comparing regulations from today and from nearly 40 years ago makes so sense. Regulations are far more strict these days and Ford would never be able to sell the Pinto in that form in today’s environment

Actually, I’m one of the people who actually would buy a car like this, if it had a manual (well, maybe not this very car, the convertible’s price will likely be out of my range, but I’d stretch for the LC500 coupe, and I’d go for a Supra if it had a stick).

I think the development of both us better for us. Sweet tech is being developed and the demand for pure EVs is huge.

Just for the record.... THIS is the direction the industry should be headed.

That dash is the reason why I bought my Cruze hatch over the Corolla hatch. It’s just a straight bar and looks like they docked an ipad on it.

Anything that runs is probably faster than a Giulia.

Honestly for $30g’s it better make some impressive numbers.

I honestly don’t understand the need to call it a Mustang and take design cues. People who buy Mustangs don’t tend to be the people who buy PEVs. I’m sure they spent tons of money on research and focus groups, but I just don’t get it. Or do they somehow think there are rubes who hate PEVs and all they stand for, but

The timing of this is absolutely hilarious. Right now, all over the world, people are sitting in movie theaters experiencing the beauty and excitement of the Ford GT, one of the most provocative race cars ever built.

Meanwhile, Ford clears its throat while balancing 340 pounds over the toilet and yells from the

It’s... not great. It’s not bad, it’s worse though - it’s dull. All of which leads me to ask, why did it need to be a Mustang?

I don’t hate it at all. I wanted to hate it.  still hate the name though.

I like it other than the fact it is called a Mustang (and also that grill).
