Where would the trial have taken place? Could you reasonably assure the safety and security of all those involved in the trial, or would their safety be compromised for life? Could you have assured that Bin Laden we would have been able to be taken alive?

I think its name failed the company. There’s a massive culture of xenophobia and fear in America, most people don’t want to watch a channel called Al-Jazeera. Before it came to america I only knew it as the network that released beheading videos and Bin Laden tapes, not a great association for american viewers.

AMEN. Some of my friends finally woke up this year when they noticed the lunacy of these elections. I’m hoping that awareness will last past the elections this year. Every election matters. The only way we get quality candidates running for President and other important national offices is by voting for those quality…

Exactly. This is one of the reasons why the Bernie-or-Bust movement fills me with so much rage (or any other similar movement, but honestly I haven’t seen a similar hashtag thrown around as often from Hillary’s camp).

THIS. We are seeing the devastating results of low voter-turnout right here. People need to vote, not only this November, but EVERY TIME there’s an election. If we don’t vote, then the aging, paranoid, Fox News-Watching folks will continue to have their way.

The cognitive dissonance experienced by the entire GOP continues to baffle me.

I love how Republicans are like “this is all about votes!” as if continuing to bar felons, who will likely vote democrat, from voting isn’t all about votes.

Right? Dudes keep asking that, and I’m like “okay, why do you want to go in there? Because you feel like a woman inside? Great, go for it. Because you want to be an asshole? Go rethink your life.”

These are probably all the same people that said they were boycotting Target when they took the gendered signs out of the toy aisles.
