Right, I'm just saying that in addition to the pain in the ass of having to go to jury duty, I'd happily give up my actual vacation time to be on this jury, which isn't actually necessary which just makes it even better

I would give up multiple weeks of my vacation time to get to be one of the people who wipes that fucking smirk off of Marty's face for good, but that's just me

If you've gotta be on a jury, the jury that sends America's most hated man to prison is the one to be on. And I didn't say people should've lied, I said people should've tried to appear as neutral as possible.

The only thing I don't get is why people were responding honestly about their opinions of him. Why not try to appear as neutral as possible and then just vote to convict when it counts

this show is not gonna get made

there's no such thing as one of those

I would have to agree that there is three parts of Gaul.

They're not divided up but they're pretty easy to pause and get back into when you have time. They're basically audiobooks, not so much a podcast. Usually it takes me a week's worth of commutes to get through one.

Two of their earliest live shows, about Charles Guiteau and the Cereal Men, were some of the best they've done but otherwise yeah, live shows aren't their strong point. I think Gareth gets a lil too shouty for the crowds

I mean I'm not expecting HH quality polish from the Dollop, I just want him to take a few minutes to look up how to pronounce words and make sure he doesn't get dates wrong and things like that.

I listened to the first few of those, and also a few episodes of the Revolutions podcast once I had finished all the free Hardcore Histories, but I think I got spoiled by Dan's storytelling ability. Might be worth looking back into, though. The Punic Nightmares series was really great, and I wanna learn more about

New Hardcore History this week, always a big event. Topic was Caesar's invasion of Gaul, which I didn't think I was going to care about, but I kind of like the episodes about things I don't think I'm going to care about, because Dan is such a good storyteller that it becomes fascinating to me by the end. Now I'm

I don't hate Iron Fist as much as a lot of people do, but that might be because I'm being overly generous with it. I read Danny as intentionally being portrayed as a huge dipshit bro-type of guy who clearly should not be the Iron Fist and isn't really meant to be taken seriously. I took the whole point of the show to

I can get behind that. McKenna and Reino have been incredible in all three, I just thought PFT so far is the only guest who's really been able to consistently keep up with them. I love Tarver and Holland, though. If the next two guests are Matt Gourley and Carl Tart, they'll have basically gone down my checklist of

It was a fantastic episode, but I think PFT's is still the best. I almost feel like they shouldn't have led off with that one because every episode that comes after it will have a lot more to live up to.

I didn't, actually, because it was a true story and I knew I would be too angry knowing Belfort ended up with no real punishment in the end to really enjoy it.

May his prison experience be similar to that of Big Otto, from Sons of Anarchy

exactly. when they go low, instead of going high, we kick them in the face.

keep defending the white supremacist, it's a good look

If they are objectively evil, sure, why not? I think one thing the left needs to do is waaaaay more ad hominem attacks. Demoralize, ridicule
