I think this is an important concept about marriage that some people don’t get. Marriage is a partnership and you should be pooling your finances while working towards an agreed upon goal for the benefit of both of you. My husband and I have an agreement about our finances that evolves as we age and our situations

I live in L.A., where that bag would make no earthly sense and I still want it.

But if the bride rented the dress and it was accidentally thrown out then she would have had to pay full retail price to its replacement non?

My MIL had my dress custom made. If the staff at the hotel had accidentally thrown it out, she would have had them, us, the band, the guests AND the locals in the village looking for that thing. Hell, she might have waved down passing cars to help out!

Donate it. You could be helping a bride to get a dress she might otherwise not be able to afford.

I don’t know why the pic is sideways. Anyways, it’s by Nature’s Bounty, I usually get it at CVS on one of their two-for-one deals that they do. You take it daily. It takes at least 3 to 6 months (depending how fast your hair grows) of daily use for you to start seeing little baby hairs popping out of your head. Give

Biotin! I’m going through menopause (that bitch!) and started taking biotin for my thinning hair. It works great, hair has filled back in, as well as my eyebrows, but I also noticed that my nails are harder and healthier as well. Go straight for the 5 or 10k mg, the 1500 isn’t enough to make a dent.

My first and only tattoo. I went to New Orleans after a break up (not a good idea btw) and stayed at a hotel that was hosting an erotic convention (also not a good idea). I went with a friend that’s an actress (that was a good idea, free drinks!). She got her nipple pierced and I got this toe ring tattoo. I was

I agree that Sept’s Glossybox was better than Aug, but not by a whole heck of a lot. They’re teasing Oct’s Paris themed box and my birthday is in Oct so I hope they go big on this one. Come on Glossybox, knock me out in Oct or I’m moving on.

I liked the polish color on me, sorta a 70’s vibe, but the polish itself did not wear well at all. Coverage was great I agree, but all my nails were chipped within in just a few days:-(

We had a whiskey tasting for our guests so our favors were monogrammed glasses (along with mini bottles of scotch) BUT we made the monogram removable.

Actually we just heard from the police yesterday that because she made the checks out to cash and he did admit to signing them, there’s not much we can do. :-( At least we stopped her from cleaning out his bank account completely, which was her next step. She had taken him down to his bank, had him withdraw every cent

Going through something similar right now with my husbands grandfather. Last year he gave away $30k to scammers that told him that Obama had gotten rid of medicare and he could sign up for a similar medical plan with the scammer for a small (ha!) fee. What he got was a list of doctors that took medicare. Then there

I’m fairly girly but I love me some Birkenstocks. I bought a pair 9 years ago while pregnant with my first and needed something for my swollen feet. I still have the same pair. I might have to replacement them in another year or two, maybe.

That was a really interesting article, thanks for posting. As a city dweller that sometimes likes to go “hiking” (read walking on trails through a state park) I’ll keep some of those tips in mind. I also now understand why Summer in L.A.+cotton=disgusting swamp crotch.

I love the red backpack in your pics, what is it?

Is it just me or does Anya’s line just look like a bunch of flight attendants from the 70’s that forgot their trousers? #disappointed

I was at art art exhibit in London several years ago. Part of the exhibit consisted of thousands of apples held in a large mesh pen left to rot in a derelict building. I always wondered why that smell bothered me so much. Somewhere in the back of my mind it must have reminded my 11 year old self of the one time I was

I’ve never stepped foot in an Ulta and haven’t been in Sephora in a decade. I buy the cheap stuff when I go to CVS or Target for household stuff. I buy the higher end stuff online so I can get extra miles for travel. At CVS I get $10 in Beauty Bucks (or whatever they’re called) and combine that with a 30% off coupon

I want the organs dress for my 7 yo daughter, she would love it!
