He was literally looking at the puck the entire time. How does that count as saving it without seeing it?

I’m pretty certain it won’t be the advent of Driverless Cars that gets me to stop driving, it’ll be the fact that you can’t get a manual transmission anymore. I don’t think automatics are bad, I just hate them with a passion. Like, almost as much as I hate Congressional Republicans.
He had a show‽ I’ve seen him do standup live once, and it was fucking fantastic.or I had no idea he had a show, that it could have been terrible.
But no actual punishment? Just moving their mistake-prone officials to games fewer people watch? What about the crews from the last two Patriots games?
I had to look at this for 6 unbroken seconds to realize that they didn’t chop a car in half for a publicity photo.
When I wear my Brady or Gronk jersey around Denver (where I’ve now lived for almost 10 years) I tend to get harrassed to a shocking level. People try to actually pick fights, actual physical altercations. Other people just like to yell and scream; my favorites are the ones who like to hurl sexual epithets along with…
There is no possible way on Earth throwing a golf ball would improve scores, for anyone except the worst of amateurs. I have a pathetic arm, but I’m still 100% confident that if you can reliably shoot under 150 for 18, your score would double.
If only he was just beating up his girlfriend, everyone would get off his back.
That’s much less calls going the Patriots way and more the Refs being incompetent, though.
Haha yeah, that’s fair.
Getting into so many discussions with people here with comparisons about other sports, and the fact is they all just fall flat. There’s no 1:1 comparison between NASCAR and a stick & ball sport. Any argument that contains something like “So you’re saying if in the NHL....” is just invalid by design.
The biggest thing…
Kyle brought it every week he was healthy enough to be at the track. So did the entire team; there’s no denying any of that. Sure, he was one of the best drivers this year, but only 2/3 of it. He won a championship while not participating in 1/3 of the season. Say that aloud a few times, then try defending it.
NASCAR…
You’re absolutely entitled to your opinion. That being said, this is one of the most batshit insane things I’ve ever heard about motorsports.
Your argument is simply wholly invalid, football is nothing like NASCAR.
This just highlights how contrived, fabricated, and asinine a playoff system is in NASCAR.
....what? No, that’s not what they’re saying at all. The comparison isn’t even apples to oranges, it’s apples to airplanes.
It’s impossible for me to agree more. You can’t miss games and still make the playoffs. Absolutely asinine — an incredible comeback story, and that cannot be argued — but it’s ridiculous that this was allowed.
He was neither forced to race, nor forced to race hurt. Your point is invalid. The most unsafe thing about it was that NASCAR granted him a waiver; you’re just encouraging additional risk and chance of injury.
Saying they were “once drafted” by the same scout sounds weird. Am I the only one who thinks that? It makes it seem like the other times they were drafted it was by different scouts, but that particular time was by the that same scout.
“...at the expensive of who’s most deserving. “
