At the absolute very least, it’s indicative of the financial state of the Payday franchise. That’s the point of that. And bear in mind that I’m not on the “Microtransactions are always 100% evil always!” bandwagon. If done right, they’re great for both players and developers.
Starbreeze’s press release for their earnings:
http://media.starbreeze.com/2015/08/2015-0…
Pulled from that entry:
“Starbreeze fourth quarter will be added to the successful history of the company with net sales reaching 72.0 MSEK, an increase by 41 per cent year on year. Total revenues reached its highest point since…
I really wish there was a “No, but I’m planning on it” option. :/
I absolutely LOVE Extra Credits. Anytime I watch one I end up still watching them 2 hours later, wondering where my night went.
Have to share this :P
I just have to say that that’s the nicest apology I’ve ever seen, even if it is just for Patricia’s joke. Legitimately made me “D’aww” at my desk :)
Yeah, and I love that when they’re talking to someone else. The only time it seemed off to me was when they were talking to each other.
Yeah, I was thinking about that too. In-game the pauses wouldn’t be strange. I’m sure once they’re actually on the field and not “sitting there” like in the videos it’ll flow more easily :)
Really fascinating champion and I’ll end up buying them.
However, on the dialogue, I feel like it’s lacking a bit. The tone is good, but I feel that Wolf should have been a little grittier. I also think that there also should have been some pauses between their dialogue when they’re talking to each other. The rapid…

The fact that you created the tag just because of this comment makes me happier than it should
All those shrooms, man :/
If they ever add in automatic voice chat, I will be banned from Splatoon that same day. I have said [yelled] many terrible things before realizing that I’m probably playing with children.
This is amazing!
Although, with each word I got more and more upset at Bungie. This is really well-written and fun to experience, and I wish that Destiny itself had more of this sort of feel.

You... you do realize that’s the name of the product, right? Oculus is the company, Rift is the name of the product.
I was in the games department at Best Buy and one of the employees started telling me that the Thief series was an Assassin’s Creed ripoff.
I also asked him what a good headset would be to go with my Oculus Rift and he asked me what kind of game the Rift was.
I would say that someone who said that is an asshole, yes. There’s a big difference between “Hey dude, remember to keep an eye on the map. You could have ______” (which comes from a place of guidance and assistance) and “Jesus look at the fucking map” (which is intended to be aggressive and antagonistic).
Your comment single-handedly changed my mind about this feature. I haven’t played since the update, but you make some great points and I think I’ll need to check it out again.
I would absolutely LOVE to be proven wrong, but with so many people (mostly outside of the gaming sphere) looking at The Void like it’s the “face” of VR now, I really worry that this guy’s ill-planned idea is going to lead many people to dismiss VR completely once he bails.
