I've actually used it to meet quite a few friends and gaming buddies. Instead of the pointless musings I chat with them about video games, shows, etc and then the people I really like I get to meet up with at conventions or on trips. Of course, it all boils down to what someone wants to get out of it. :)

Hahaha, I've never heard that expression before. I may have to steal it :D
And a reboot? I'm alright with "alternate history" settings but I can't stand when someone retcons their own piece of work, be that with games, tv shows, or movies.

Personally I don't believe it will lead to more arena shooters since they are typically a one-off thing (or there's a looooooooooong delay between them), but that is a valid concern. I felt the same worry when I saw Fable starting to do... whatever the hell it's doing now :P

I really hope they don't scrap LoK for

People are just mad that a game in the same universe (note: not series) isn't being made as a sequel or remake. It's a separate game that's quite enjoyable that just happens to take place in that series' world. Honestly, I think it's a little ridiculous that people are angry/disappointed/sad about it because it

This, right here. I've never played Soul Reaver or Legacy of Kain, simply because I didn't have access to them back when I had interest. Now that Nosgoth came out, it's sparked some interest in the older games since this was fun on it's own. I'm sorry to all the fanboys screaming "This is a bastardization! This is an

He hit that poor woman so hard it broke parts of his car off O___O;

"Aww, I dropped the cop! Oh but it's okay because the cop's on a string that's attached to the cup!"

To be fair, it's not entirely fair to hate one piece of work because other people decide to imitate it. It's fine to not like it, but it's not the creator's fault that "Five Night's at Wario's" or the Disney one became a thing.

I see it more as an episodic series. They're not necessarily unique games in and of themselves, but rather all just pieces of the whole, singular "Five Nights at Freddy's" horror story.

One minor correction if I may suggest: Trine 2 is not first person. It's a side scroller "2.5D" platformer because you move on a preset plane, side to side. No depth other than aesthetics exist.

I agree! I was on hold with a company but the headline caught my eye. With this, I was able to get the point of the post without needing to watch the video so it's much appreciated :D

Let me preface this by saying that I've never played a Tales game before, but I've been wanting to get in to them.

'Grats!

I recently bought that for my boyfriend after reading an article on it. We haven't jumped into it yet, but how did you like it?

Beautifully put :)

I totally understand, haha. It's nice for me too. Back when I first read it and we were doing our weekly summaries about what we took away from it, my teacher was worried about me because I viewed him as the protagonist as well as the antagonist. It surprised me (especially at the time) that nobody else felt like they

That is a great suggestion. I read it back in High School for my AP English class, and it was incredible. I was battling my own demons at the time as well so the timing was impeccable, and actually helped me rid myself of some of my thoughts and aggression.

As much as I hate pre-order bonuses, at least they're not making it something that nobody else can get. Looking at you, Dying Light.

Don't forget that the man responsible for this game was also responsible for the well-marketed horribly executed "War Z." I was hopeful for that game, until I realized that the head honcho also made this.

Now playing

It's not just the cops, even the EMTs have no restraint.
