Good point. But apparently it's a 1500hp sports-luxury car. If it's got internet, you want it to work and work well. You didn't pay 1.9mil for a 1500hp car because you like waiting around for things!

This man has a deployed airbag on his head.

It runs on half life 3

Allisons are still used to this day in tractor-pulling.

Now playing

Always reminds me of this (Skip to 1:06 if doesn't automatically).

I think it was Car & Driver who once used the term "life altering dump"

I just assumed the car was the end result.

Chris - this has nothing to do with cars (love your work btw #1 fan), but I have to let you know that when England won the legendary '62 World Cup, the sport was still often referred to as Soccer in England as well. It was only later that the seemingly anti-American sentiment shifted the term to Football and only

Victim blamer!

Llama on the run.

Neutral: Would You Buy A Subaru? If you were in the market for a new car would you at least cross-shop it?

You can't beat the passive restraints in the DeSade package though.

Who cares about the transmission?? Listen to that 2 stroke detroit scream!

Though, in fairness, a transmission that is designed for an 80,000lb+ vehicle to be used at max rating for long periods of time and millions of miles is going to be a bit beefier than something that is meant for a 3000lb car running the strip in short bursts - however violent they may be.

Allison has the latest "9000" series that can take 4000 lb-ft input. It's still an automatic transmission. 6 forward and 2 reverse gears for extremely severe duty.
