This is ridiculous. A company should be allowed to advertise or not advertise on whatever platforms they choose. Forcing an advertiser to buy ads on a specific platform is ridiculous.

There doesn’t need to be as many public chargers as there are gas stations. About 60% of the population can do their daily charging at home. Only the people who can’t charge at home or are limited to 120V charging at home and people who can charge fast at home but go on longer trips need public chargers.

There are a lot of people that either can’t charge at home at all or are limited to 120V charging which isn’t fast enough for most people. The percentage of the population that can’t charge at home at all or are limited to 120V charging is about 40%. 

Even if you can do 100% of charging at home the total cost of ownership is still higher on EVs when you factor in the higher purchase price, higher registration fees, higher price of insurance, more expensive tires, cost to install charging equipment and the price of electricity.

There are other things to factor in than just the cost of electricity. Many states are now adding a fee to registration to make up for the loss of the gas tax that an EV owner would no longer pay, EVs are more expensive to insure than a comparable gas car, there is a cost to installing a fast charger at home, etc.

I’d say that biological facts matter and people’s feelings don’t overrule that. It’s not the intent to hurt anyone’s feelings but if someone puts me in a position where I have to choose between someone’s feelings and scientific facts I’m going with scientific facts every time.

Saying someone that is XY is a woman or that someone that is XX is a man would require changing the definition of "man" and "woman". Those words would have no real meaning anymore.
