I agree. It doesn’t really seem to make sense. This does seem like an Avalon replacement. The starting price of the Avalon and ES were so similar that getting the Avalon over the ES didn’t really make sense since they were essentially the same car.

Having a car that is clean and somewhat new is showing off wealth?
The RX is a SUV. The Crown isn’t. Despite Toyota calling the Crown a “crossover” (still don’t understand what that really is) it looks like a sedan not a SUV.
The ES is actually based on the Avalon. The Avalon started and just a few thousand less than the ES. I’m guessing the Crown will have a starting price similar to the Avalon which is being discontinued after 2022.
Ewww. The body style reminds me too much of old station wagons.
I’m glad it has a regular trunk and not a hatchback. I’ve never liked the look of hatchbacks. I’d never buy one.
The Last Jedi was terrible. I haven't seen it since I saw it in the theater on opening night and I really have no desire to ever see it again.
The Rise Of Skywalker was absolutely the best of the sequel trilogy. The Last Jedi was a complete dumpster fire. The Last Jedi actually makes The Force Awakens a worse movie because the only real redeeming part of The Force Awakens was that it set up some interesting plot points to be explored in the next movie. Who…
I don't like that he's a clone. It makes his death less permanent. I much prefer the idea that he survived the events of Return Of The Jedi. It also just doesn't make any sense. If he is a clone why is he so weak and why does he still look disfigured since that was a result of his fight with Mace Windu. And why does…
I don't remember anyone ever saying it was trendy and beautiful with the light background. I don't remember anyone being happy when Google switched from the darker theme of KitKat to the much lighter theme of Lollipop.
Actually, it doesn’t have to be pure black to save power on an OLED screen. On an OLED screen a black pixel is off using no power but darker/dimmer colors do use less power than a white pixel does. So yes, using dark grey will use less power and therefore better battery life but not as much less as pure black.…
The infotainment is not trash. The better location of the screen makes it easier to see while driving but almost impossible to reach to use as a touch screen. So they need a different interface. As far as non-touch screen infotainment controls the touchpad is the best I’ve ever used. It’s not perfect but so much…
Kia and Hyundai are still crap. They have improved some but they didn’t have anywhere to go but up. It’s good that the warranty lasts so long. You will need it...a LOT.
I’m all for keeping CD players is cars. CDs just sound better.
CDs sound better than Spotify. I've had a friend play Spotify in my car. The quality wasn't very good.
There are several things that make streaming services a bad option for some people.
That’s your opinion. I think the grill looks great. One of the best on any current model car.
I have to very strongly disagree on the hideous looks. I think it looks very good. I think Lexus has one of the best front grill designs right now. I'm very happy with the looks of my 2019 Lexus ES.
I’ve heard of the Prius, Prius C, Prius V and Prius Prime. I've never heard of a Prius Three.
I don't care for the look either but I can't stand the look of hatchbacks in general.
