I’m willing to bet that if/when Trump ever tweets about the emoluments clause, emoluments will be both misspelled and in quotes for some reason.

That’s the first one that came to mind for me, too. But the fact that that game constantly gets referenced whenever a D-II team upsets (or almost upsets) a big name program is worth much more that $600K.

When Aguero got that soul-sucking goal right before half, I thought “that’s it, I’ve seen this movie before.  City will come out in the second half and roll their way to a 4 - 2 or 5 - 2 win.”  All credit to Norwich having the mental toughness to fight through that.

In your defense, that does sound like something Art would say.

I love the Advertising Guy stuff - please bring him back sometime soon.

It’s worth noting that apparently Vontez Burfict was the peacemaker that held Antonio Brown back when he went after Mike Mayock.

But I thought the narrative this spring was that Brown (and Rosenhaus) rejected a trade to Buffalo, and more or less orchestrated the trade to the Raiders as a more desirable destination?

Um, wrong. Brown, Brady, Rodgers, and 29 other players had a 1 year grace period in 2018 for their old helmets. The other 31 players managed to switch to a new helmet this year without throwing a tantrum that would make a 4 year old blush.

Really? I’ve been mistakenly attributing that to Raylan whenever that quote is appropriate - Basically every day on the internet.

When you smugly smugly someone eat it?

I thought it was Wiley Wiggins.

Why would they do a full background check on a 57 year old guy who wants to spend unsupervised time with teenage girls?

I bet Tito never had to deal with this shit.

And she feels very, very strongly about it.

His team thinks helping teens and the homeless will play well.

It’s true he disagreed with some of the views of previous advisor

He might get a better deal than Jack Johnson, but athletes and especially basketball players have always found ways to get their money stolen from them via “investments” like this (see Garnett & Duncan).

Shams anticipates possible conflicts arising if this sort of thing becomes popular in the NBA—owners quietly investing in player bonds in order to directly profit off of their team’s own salary payments, for example

But Gardner Flint Minshew II has four I’s...
