prompting him to tweet angrily that “We are absolutely moving forward, as we must, because of the importance of the answer to this question.”
Weren’t the Pelicans noticeably better after he got injured two years ago, as well?
Well, John Zachary DeLorean and Pablo Escobar...
But I have no doubt you are trying in general to start shit. (And oh look, you did!)
We have a guest. What do we do for guests?
The President can’t do that (hey, I learned something new today), but that idea fascinates me just because of how entertaining the shit-show of Trump choosing someone (and trying to get both houses to approve) would be.

You’re baffled because you have glaucoma apparently
Oh, there have definitely been big/close out of bounds calls (in the NCAA tournament and the NBA playoffs, as you say), but I don’t think those were hair-splitting situations where the defender hits the ball and it it barely grazes the offensive player’s fingers as it leaves his hand.
It seems more analogous to if the NFL started using video review to determine whether the requisite number of players were EXACTLY in a straight line when determining illegal formations.
Would this usually have been called offsides pre-VAR (ignoring that the initial call was onsides)? Honestly asking, I’d be curious to know if it was called like this historically.
It’s very similar to what’s happening in basketball. When a basketball gets slapped out of an offensive player’s hands, thanks to how physics and matter work, it almost always actually ends up touching the offensive player’s fingers last. It’s just been convention for 80 years to ignore that reality and call it out…
The issue isn’t so much that people have a difference of opinion on the matter as much as the pro-Pen side insisting this is the only correct call when soccer history does not bear it out at all.
I’m a littled baffled by multiple people arguing that either there wasn’t any contact at all, or there wasn’t enough for a penalty.
That’s literally the definition of a mud room
I think it’s intended to be a somewhat deadpan satire piece.
In my 10 years in the suburbs, I had to go [...] 6 miles to the restaurants and bars in the nearest actual small city.
