It’s not about Shia vs Sunni in Syria. That’s red herring thrown about by propaganda. It’s well known that the Syrian government is non-sectarian and liberal. Kinda curious why you’d think not.

People like McCain will use this as an excuse to continue to arm the FSA with more and more fancy weapons (MANPADS I bet first). Inevitably, the arms will end up in the wrong hands and used against us. They’ll be like, “omg how can this happen we need boots on the ground.” Aaaand we’re back to 2003.

What exactly have we lost here? We’re saving money and American lives. Sounds good to me.
