Any bets on how long it takes before one of the lower tail lights gets broken? Nothing like putting a brittle piece of plastic in one of the most vulnerable locations!

. . . also USPS replacement fleet . . .
It’s priced right for an interesting DD/beater . . . IF it starts, runs and stops. Not worth spending a lot on fixing major mechanical stuff, but for drive-it-til-it-dies, it would be more fun than an old Altima, Buick or Camry.
Pro - the poll is working, today. Con - the percentage totals are hovering around 105%.
A winning combination? Both stupid AND ugly?!
$5,000 asking is high, but $3,500 selling would be a fair price. CP, based on price, alone.
Because Gladiators are flying off the lots, now?!
CP, starting with the cracked windshield and ending with the aftermarket pimp-my-ride rims.
The HR-V suffers from nondescript looks and no manual.
Subaru is one of, what, 50 major brands, out there, and their brand is built around AWD. If you don’t want AWD, you have many, many other options to pick from. Arguing that Subaru should decontent / offer more options ignores the very fundamental reality that what they’re doing seems to be working, very well, for…
Along with more ground clearance comes more tire sidewall, which works better / great with the crappy roads in Midwestern Rust Belt cities. For a smaller vehicle, the ride is surprisingly plush and forgiving.
Don’t most stock “driving” lights / “fog” lights do the same thing (in non-fog conditions)? Lighting up the foreground more? Which is why many drivers use them all the time? Because they’d rather believe their own “lying eyes”, that they can “see better”, and not trust some “expert”?!
One, it’s not the structure, it’s the people who are out on the streets and management, above them, that sets the tone for ANY public contact or interaction. Two, few people want to interact with someone in authority unless / until they need their “assistance”. Three, if you spend your days interacting with a**holes,…
If there’s no drivetrain, why not lower the box bed by 6"-8"? Keep the top of the sides higher, if need be, for “styling”, but capitalize on the functionality possibilities, for people who are actually loading, carrying and unloading stuff.
Didn’t lust after it when new, don’t lust after one, now. NP based solely on condition and expected reliability as a DD.
Yep, just having a car loan on the vehicle creates a lien situation.
I’m the same way driving my wife’s Mustang GT, versus driving my Crosstrek.
Yes, everything you enumerated is bad, all reasons why traffic stops could “go away”. My counter is what would the world be like with absolutely no enforcement? In the immortal words of someone, “You can’t fix stupid”. Laws without enforcement are worthless, and it’s the fear of enforcement that keeps most drivers…
Plus, not figuring out what to do with the rear license plate. Just stick it behind the head restraint?! Sure!
950 miles, at 60 miles per charge, is 16 stops . . . so, it’s an hour driving followed by a couple of hours of charging? 250 miles a day? And 4 days? 300-360 miles a day? And 3 days?
