I say modestly as the Brabus ForTwo maintains the standard model’s 70 horsepower turbo triple engine. It does have remapped shift points for the five-speed auto manual...

Is this all that different than any other street that gets densely populated for periods of time? I’ve been to pro sports stadiums in a lot of different cities, and I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything more than basic traffic cones blocking traffic from streets full of people going in/out of the stadium. Every…
IT’S NOT FOR EVERYONE BUT —I could see a very limited use case for something like this: as an alternative to a fancy golf cart for someone living in a retirement area (The Villages?) or someone that wants to tow this dinghy behind their RV. So if that’s you, nice-enough price for something clean and unique. So…
Paging Mercedes Streeter. Ms Mercedes, your NP may be here.
Just no. If I want to blow coins on a pretentious dressed-up version of a pedestrian minicar, I’d go for an Aston-Martin Cygnet. At least then I’d get the posh appointments I’d expect in a half-pint luxury ride, with Toyota reliability. Not this. No Dice.
I get that it’s fun to point and laugh at the rich guy complaining about $9, but the issue he raises seems legitimate. His residence, his car, and his kids are all outside of the congestion zone but because of how the streets are laid out he has to briefly drive into the congestion zone when going around the block in…
just don’t get busy with a blacklight or anything...
Better yet make an ID Buzz Syncro TDI GTI Wolfsburg Edition 1.8
Portal axles or GTFO.
I think it would age a lot better if it didn’t start at $60,000. I don’t want special editions of it, I want accessible editions.
Like Mater from Cars said...
The math is there for anyone willing to consider it: it took $33K in repairs and maintenance to carry this Disco to 233K miles. The next owner will be the next line in the equation.
Holy shit 3 of those pieces of shit. This guy must be a millionaire*
I also enjoyed “This vehicle has never been misused or taken off road” - I know what they mean, but isn’t off roading the proper use for these?
Not a single interior picture? Even as the seller waxes poetic about how the roof rack “enhances the vehicle’s culture” — Gaak! — not a single mention of it in the text either. And this is the wife’s wheels — with a recovery kit stuck to said cultural roof rack and enough lights to be seen from space. Hmmmm ...
“Thank you in advance for your consideration and your time reviewing this asset.” And with binders full of maintenance and repair records, good luck in your future endeavors.
The volumes of repair/maintenance records do not surprise me. ND because more books are forthcoming, chronicling more expense and misery.
In the world of dreams this looks good. After you pinch yourself and the reality of a 200K Land Rover sinks in only ND can be selected.
anyone who stops voluntarily on a train track deserves to be hit by a train tbh
If you want something like this, just get the Pacifica that inspired it. It will be cheaper to purchase and cheaper to own. My mom had a Limited for like 18 years, it was a good car that had way more features than other vehicles at the time. Late in life it through a CEL but it kept going.
